Just found out that Bethesda will be including a full-size replica of the Pip-Boy 3000 in the Fallout 3 Survival Edition, available exclusively from Amazon. The Pip-Boy is the wrist mounted do-anything tool that’s been in both previous Fallout games. From the picture, it doesn’t look like you can actually wear the thing, but it does function as a stylish digital clock. The Survival Edition also includes the items from the other collectors edition, including metal Vault-Tec lunch box packaging, a 5″ Vault Boy bobblehead, The Art of Fallout 3 book, and The Making of Fallout 3 DVD.

I must say, though, that exclusives like this make me very unhappy. It’s a staple throughout the entertainment industry, obviously, but it’s still a damned shame that people buy into it.
